Srila Gurudeva - Holland 1996: Srila Gurudeva Anthology vol.1

On May 5th, 1996, a new Gaudiya Vaishnava era began as Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, Bhakta Bandhav Srila Gurudeva, started his first world tour in Holland. Four days earlier, in Sri Keshavaji Gaudiya Math, Mathura, prominent sadhus, scholars, and priests from around Vraja honored Srila Gurudeva in an auspicious ceremony and prayed for his success in preaching in the West.
The success of this mission cannot be overstated. Within a year, devotee communities across the world were uplifted by his nectar-like hari-katha and teachings on vraja-bhakti, and many began traveling wherever Srila Gurudeva went. Over the next fifteen years, he completed thirty-two world tours, and thousands of devotees gathered annually for the Vraja-mandala parikrama and Navadvipa-dhama parikrama under his guidance.
Srila Gurudeva also preached extensively throughout India when not traveling abroad. Tens of thousands accepted initiation from him into the path of pure bhakti in the line of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
