Srila Rupa Gosvami appeared from Vraja-dhama to fulfill Mahaprabhu’s desire by spreading vraja-prema and the mood of the manjaris. He taught that the highest spiritual practice is anuragamayi-bhakti—devotion to Sri Radha-Krsna filled with spontaneous loving attachment and the desire to serve Them. His writings on Their pastimes inspire spiritual greed, leading devotees away from material desires and into intimate service of the Divine Couple.
