Stava Mala – The Garland of Devotional Prayers By Srila Rupa Gosvami Bhanu Swami

Stava-mala, “A Garland of Prayers,” is one of the most treasured works of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvami, the crest jewel of the Six Gosvamis of Vrndavana. This collection of devotional hymns (stavas) is filled with the essence of pure bhakti-rasa, glorifying the Lord, His associates, and His transcendental pastimes.
To preserve and present this sacred text, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī carefully compiled the stavas, and the celebrated Gauḍīya ācārya Śrīla Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa provided his profound commentary. Their combined contributions make this volume not only a book of devotional poetry but also a guide to the inner meanings of bhakti.
This edition, translated by HH Bhanu Swami, makes the Sanskrit verses and commentary accessible to the modern reader while maintaining fidelity to the original mood of the Gosvamis.
