Sri Tattva Sandarbha Satyanarayana Dasa
Though the shortest in the Sat Sandarbha series, Tattva Sandarbha is foundational to the entire Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava philosophical system. Authored by the brilliant 16th-century saint and theologian Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī, this work lays the epistemological and ontological groundwork upon which the remaining five Sandarbhas are built.
“Tattva” means truth or essence, and this book reveals the core principles of reality, especially as perceived and understood through the Bhāgavata Purāṇa, the crown jewel of Vedic literature. It introduces the key spiritual framework for realizing Bhagavān, the Supreme Person, not through speculation but through śāstra (scripture), guru (teacher), and anubhava (spiritual experience)—culminating in a life of devotional love (bhakti).
