Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami Ragatmika Vrajavasi & prayojana Acarya
Srila Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami, born in 1494 in Krsnapura, India, was a devoted follower of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu from a young age. Renouncing his home, he served Mahaprabhu intimately under the guidance of Svarupa Damodara Gosvami and later settled in Vrndavana, composing prayers like Vraja-vilasa-stava, Vilapa Kusumanjali, and Mukta-carita.
He played a crucial role in preserving and spreading the loving moods of Vraja, assisting Srila Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami in writing Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, and manifesting Mahaprabhu’s heart’s desire in this world. His life and teachings remain an essential guide for Gaudiya Vaisnavas seeking to understand divine love and devotion.
