Srimad Bhagavad Gita (Hardcover) — By Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura
Spend More, Get More
Srila Bhaktivinoda's Commentary to the Bhagavad-gita is also known as Rasika Ranjana, it was written originally in Bengali, based on the commentary of Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, who was a stout follower of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In his introduction Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura writes that devotional service alone is the goal, and unalloyed devotional service is independent and devoid of the tinge of karma or jnana. At the end of the book is appended the Gita-mahatmya with its seven verses with English translation.
Unlike ordinary translations, this version reflects the pure bhakti perspective of the Gaudiya tradition, emphasizing surrender, devotion, and spiritual realization through Krishna consciousness. Bound in a beautiful hardcover, it is ideal for study, worship, or as a treasured gift for seekers of truth.
