The Saints of Bengal By Dr. O. B. L. Kapoor

The Saints of Bengal by O.B.L. Kapoor presents the lives, teachings, and devotional contributions of twenty-five Vaishnavas who lived in Bengal during the last two hundred years. These devotees dedicated their lives to the service of Sri Krishna and His devotees, leaving behind examples of faith, humility, devotion, and spiritual commitment.
The book includes accounts of well-known personalities such as Sri Jagannatha Dasa Babaji, Sri Gaura Kishora Dasa Babaji, and Sri Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, along with lesser-known devotees whose lives also offer valuable lessons and inspiration.
Rather than being simply a historical record, this work provides brief yet meaningful glimpses into the lives of saintly devotees and scholars. Their practices, teachings, dedication, and service provide readers with an opportunity to reflect on the principles of bhakti and devotional service.
