Dana Keli Kaumudi By Srila Rupa Gosvami

Dana-keli-kaumudi is a Sanskrit drama composed by Srila Rupa Gosvami, one of the foremost theologians and poets of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. 
This enchanting play beautifully depicts the dāna-keli pastime—where Lord Kṛṣṇa, along with His friends, mischievously demands a toll (dāna) from Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī and Her sakhīs as they pass through the forest of Vṛndāvana.
Rich in humor, poetic wit, and romantic tension, the dialogue captures the deep emotional exchanges between the divine couple, highlighting their eternal love. Like a gentle moonlight (kaumudī), this drama illuminates the blissful heart of Vraja-lila and is a cherished meditation for devotees absorbed in the sweet moods (mādhurya-rasa) of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes.
